Challenge 25 Policy

We operate a strict Challenge 25 policy in accordance with the requirements and objectives of the Licensing Act 2003.

If an individual appears to be under the age of 25, valid photographic identification will be required before alcohol is served.

Alcohol will not be supplied where satisfactory identification cannot be provided.

Accepted Forms of Identification

We accept the following forms of valid identification:

All identification must be original, valid, in date (where applicable), and physically presented at the point of sale.

Digital copies or photographs of identification will not be accepted.

Confiscation of Suspected False or Misused ID

Where identification is reasonably believed to be false, altered, forged, fraudulently obtained, or being used by a person other than the legitimate holder, we reserve the right to retain the identification document.

Any retained identification may be forwarded to the appropriate authority for further investigation in order to prevent unlawful alcohol sales and ensure compliance with licensing obligations.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse the sale or supply of alcohol to:

Under 18s & Late Hours

In accordance with our premises licence conditions, additional restrictions apply to persons under the age of 18 during later trading hours.

Unless otherwise permitted under our licence, persons under the age of 18 may not remain on the premises after 9:00pm.

Where minors are permitted to remain on the premises prior to this time, they must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

Management reserves the right to request proof of age, refuse entry, or require the removal of any person who does not comply with licence conditions.
